Nara Logics provides an AI platform designed for high consequence decisions with full explainability for every response. The breadth of our customer set and platform offers team members opportunities to grow software development and data science skills, where artificial intelligence converges with current systems. We are seeking someone who is a skilled coder, ready to contribute to a team, and intellectually curious enough to define and develop innovative solutions focused on the customer mission.
We are looking for up to 3 co-ops who are excited to work on customer or internal software development needs. We like to give co-ops projects related to their interests, and which build out our product or benefit our developers. Past projects for co-ops have been:
Building ETL pipelines and Connectomes (our version of an ML model) from customer and benchmarking datasets
Implementing Elasticsearch + Kibana reporting for general monitoring and evaluation of our platform
Identifying and implementing a tool to enhance our platform or operations: e.g. implementing Swagger for documentation, Cloudflare for network security
Creating new components for visualizing various types of data
Working alongside our developers to support their projects: building out our Django API, writing generalized operations for ETL pipelines, optimizing code across environments, and more
Nara Logics co-ops combine software engineering, systems tooling, and AI. You will be exploring cutting edge tools to enhance our production-grade AI platform for our customers, who are defense contractors, government agencies, and top global enterprises in financial services, healthcare, and consumer products. Because of the nature of our work, co-ops must be US citizens.
Based on your project, you’ll get the chance to learn/build:
Data science and matrix math with Pandas/NumPy
ETL pipelining with Dagster
RESTful APIs with Django, PostgreSQL
Container orchestration with Kubernetes
