Full Stack Developer

Description

Due to continued success and significant growth, Aiimi is looking for a Full Stack Developer who is experienced in back-end development in Python along with front end development skills in VueJS and/or React.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take your development skills to the next level, working with key stakeholders and technical experts to ensure the best product is delivered across multiple projects. We are looking for someone to demonstrate technical leadership and support the technical development of others in the team.

We work with a variety of customers/clients across the UK, so no two projects will be the same. You should have a keen interest in learning and working with cutting-edge technology and R&D, utilising your technical skills to deliver the highest quality solutions.

Please be aware that this role requires on-site work in Derby and will involve undergoing SC clearance eligibility due to the sensitive nature of the consulting work.

Requirements

  • Must meet security clearance requirements.

  • Demonstrable recent experience working in full-stack web development in a relevant area.

  • Essential: experience in TypeScript.

  • Desired: experience in Electron, Angular, Jasmine, SQL/SQLlite.

  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.

  • Working in an Agile/Scrum process.

  • Python backend development - Preferably FastAPI and/or Flask, SQLAlchemy and/or Pytest.

  • Frontend development using a component based JavaScript web framework - preferably VueJS, but React would be acceptable.

  • Experience with frontend web application state management - preferably Vuex for VueJS, but Redux for React would be acceptable.

  • Experience writing unit tests for frontend web applications e.g. vue-test-utils.
