We are looking for a System Developer to join our team and work on cross-platform solutions that streamline remote administration, enhance security, and monitor the health of computer systems and devices for businesses of all sizes. In this role, you'll work closely with operating systems, particularly Windows, understanding how applications interact with the OS and contributing to the development of robust system software. You’ll also have opportunities to engage in security research and integrate security improvements into the development process.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO **
Develop and maintain cross-platform and system-specific software, with a focus on Windows OS.
Collaborate with the security team to integrate security features and ensure the resilience of services.
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to improve system stability and security.
Research new features, and contribute to their design and implementation.
Develop and execute tests for newly created features.
Collaborate closely with other team members, including QA, to deliver high-quality software to end users.
Support secure software development practices within the team.
**WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) **
At least 2 years of professional development experience with C++ and Python.
Strong understanding of Windows OS architecture, including user-space applications and core system functionality.
Familiarity with how applications interact with operating systems and the ability to develop system-level software.
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with SQLite.
Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
Knowledge of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, multithreading, multiprocessing, web services, and REST APIs.
Experience with build and deployment technologies and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with secure software development standards and practices (e.g., OWASP SAMM, NIST 800-64, ISO/IEC 27034) is a plus.
Security research experience and the ability to participate in security-driven development are an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
