Our Product Department consists of over 40 developers who work on our vulnerability management solutions. The aim is to increase security for our customers by identifying vulnerabilities at an early stage so that countermeasures can be taken quickly. In addition to many German and international companies , our clientele also includes the German federal government.

To support our development teams, we are looking for a Python / Automation Engineer (m/f/d) with multiple years of practical experience who enjoys advancing and helping shape solutions. Motivated, dynamic, and diverse teams are waiting to benefit from your expertise.

A great match for the role would bring a strong understanding of modern coding practices , and structured problem-solving skills, more than being proficient in specific technologies.

Welche Aufgaben erwarten dich

• Developing and maintaining robust Python-based applications to process security-related data

• Extending and improving our internal infrastructure and tooling

• Analyze and automate vulnerability data for Linux and Windows systems

• Applying common development practices such as clean code, code reviews, and continuous integration

Was solltest du mitbringen?

• 3+ years of experience in a development role or similar technical positio

• Experience in solving structural problems on a production scale

• Ability to discuss and collaborate on highly technical solutions within a dynamic team and break down complex problems into practical development tasks

• Experience working with data preparation and processing

• Advanced Python development experience

• English communication skills

• You are communicative, open, and eager to learn

• You enjoy new technologies and methods

• You are motivated by complex and challenging tasks

• You recognize tasks independently and can complete them in a structured way

• You can quickly familiarize yourself with existing code and improve weak points

Must-have:

• Python experience

• Strong general IT and development knowledge

Nice to have:

• Windows based security tools and workflows

• System administrator experience

• Bash and Powershell

• Docker

• CI/CD experience

• Cybersecurity knowledge

• Experience with APIs and web scraping
