For one of our clients, we are looking for a Python Developer, remotely from Europe.
In this role, you will join the Risk Management Team and be responsible for developing and maintaining risk analytics tools, as well as designing and implementing APIs to support risk management workflows. You will also work on optimizing and automating data pipelines for efficient data processing and risk reporting. As a Python Developer, you will ensure the secure and scalable architecture of risk-related applications and collaborate closely with risk analysts to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain Python-based risk analytics tools and interactive web applications (using Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
Design and implement APIs to streamline risk management workflows.
Optimize and automate data pipelines using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL/NoSQL databases to ensure efficient processing and reporting.
Ensure that risk-related applications are secure, scalable, and follow best software development practices.
Collaborate with risk analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain code quality by utilizing version control, testing, and clear documentation.
Strong Python programming skills, with hands-on experience in Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and version control.
A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
A strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management.
Experience with market data, P&L, and risk metrics is a plus.
