Job Summary
As a Senior Back-end Engineer you will play a key role in building and maintaining services that power GenAI-driven features in Course Studio. Your expertise will help shorten the timeline for content creation by leveraging AI-driven automation and optimization techniques. You will work within a cross-functional team to design scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate with GenAI models and support the broader learning platform.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support GenAI features in Course Studio.
Implement and optimize APIs for AI-driven content generation and processing.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of backend services.
Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate LLM (Large Language Models) into production workflows.
Utilize AWS to deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-based solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
Work with version control tools like Git to manage source code and development workflows.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize backend components for reliability and efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging trends in GenAI, LLMs, and backend development best practices.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
5+ years of experience with Python for backend development.
Experience with AWS services for cloud-based development and deployment.
Strong proficiency in Git and version control best practices.
Knowledge of API development and best practices for integrating AI services.
Experience working with GenAI and LLM (Large Language Models) is a nice to have.
