Senior IoT Software Engineer - Rust, Python, IoT Edge
Your mission
We’re looking for a versatile Sr. IoT Software Engineer to develop cutting-edge solutions for IoT edge devices and signal processing. This role will focus on creating applications for Raspberry Pi and Azure IoT Edge, contributing to AI-powered anti-theft solutions, and tackling complex challenges in signal processing and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols.
Mission / Responsibility:
Work closely with our hardware and embedded engineers to integrate software solutions seamlessly with the overall system
Develop applications in Rust and Python for edge devices (Raspberry Pi) and Azure IoT Edge environments
Research and develop deep learning algorithms
Support troubleshooting and resolving of customer issues related to edge devices and its applications
Conduct performance testing, profiling, and debugging to ensure code efficiency and stability
Maintain clear documentation of design decisions, code changes, and development processes
Participate in code reviews, sharing feedback to uphold best practices and code quality
Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to gain real-time insights

Your Skills and Experience
5+ years of professional experience as a IoT Software Engineer or similar role
Proficient in Rust and Python
Solid knowledge of Linux-based systems
Expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol and signal processing is a plus
Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Fundamental understanding of security best practices
Knowledge of Azure IoT Edge solutions is a plus
A self-motivated and results-oriented way of working with a passion for automation and continuous improvement
