Senior Technical Product Owner IT

This position offers an exciting opportunity to significantly shape product development in an innovative and dynamic work environment. As an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager, you will define the long-term product vision and ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our users. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive product strategy and make data-driven decisions to further our success.

Tasks

• Define and communicate the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with executive stakeholders

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects user needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility

• Gather and analyze customer feedback, market data, and industry trends to inform product decisions and drive innovation

• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team's efforts

• Collaborate with the team to plan and prioritize work for each sprint, ensuring efficient delivery

• Monitor key performance indicators and use data-driven insights to measure success and identify areas for optimization

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a SaaS environment

• Strong proficiency with Python 3.9+, Django Rest Framework, and SQL

• Demonstrated ability to build scalable REST APIs and work with relational databases

• Deep understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams

• Strategic thinking with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of driving product success

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

• Experience with popular Python libraries like rq, gunicorn, mock, and pytest

• Basic DevOps skills - bash, shell

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and large data set ingestion techniques

• Proficient with code versioning tools like Git

• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken

• German B2 level
