Software Engineer (Python)

When we ceased operations in April 2022 following a regulatory change, we had gathered 1.2 million registered users to whom we had granted more than 1 million cash advances for a total of €61 million.
Last year, with the trust and support of our community, we returned with an even more powerful product : an account, a debit card, tools to control your finances and no hidden fees. We recently also brought back the cash advance feature with the aim to help everyone who wants to deal with their short term financing needs and look forward with a greater peace of mind.
Tasks
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Python) to join our talented team in Barcelona to help create the most incredible digital product that is disrupting the market. You will play a leading role designing and building backend features, hosted in the AWS cloud and following a microservices architecture.
What you will be doing
Design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability.
Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross- functional team.
Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team.
Requirements
4+ of relevant experience as a Backend Software Engineer or similar role
Experience with Django / Python
Strong analytical and problem solving ability. Comfortable with tackling very loosely defined problems and thrive when working on a team which has autonomy in their day to day decisions
Experience in operating and maintaining production grade software
Great team player. You enjoy working in a team, ask questions and accept the knowledge gap as you join
Infra experience would be a plus
