Responsibilities:
Develop Knowbe4’s API platform which involves building out extensible and scalable services on which customers/vendors can consume our APIs.
Take ownership of leading technical projects and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
Engage with partners and internal engineering teams to understand requirements, develop functional specifications, and build and deploy to production.
Work on complex engineering problems and propose solutions.
Self-starter in identifying gaps and providing solutions.
Requirements:
8+ Years’ experience as full stack engineer for enterprise-grade cloud-based SaaS products.
Should have extensive experience with building and integrating REST-based APIs with best practices of authentication & authorization in enterprise-grade production environments.
Understanding and experience in building software systems following software design principles such as DRY/KISS/YAGNI.
Experience in building scalable products leveraging AWS (or equivalent) backend technologies like EC2, S3, Lambda, Eventbridge, SNS, SQS etc.
Demonstrable knowledge of fundamental cloud concepts around multi-tenancy, scaling out, serverless.
Expert knowledge in at least one of the web framework technologies like Python Django/Flask/Rails/Express.
Expertise in one or more frontend technologies like React/Svelte/Angular or equivalent.
Expertise in at least one IaC technologies like HashiCorp Terraform or equivalent.
Working knowledge in relational databases such as MySQL/Postgres and expertise in SQL.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Elasticsearch is preferred.
Experience with continuous delivery and integration pipelines: Docker, Gitlab CI and other automated deployment and testing tools.
Should be open to learn new technologies & programming languages as and when needed.
Working experience on developing clean, unit tested and secure code.
Nice to Have:
Experience in working with APIs in the cybersecurity industry, and understanding the basics of the current security landscape (attack frameworks, security log processing, basic knowledge of AV/EDR/DLP/CASB, etc.) is a huge plus.
Experience building scalable data processing pipelines is a plus.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Pandas and Delta Tables is a plus.
