Staff Software Engineer - Python, Inpatient Clinical Staffing

In this role, you will shape a mission-critical web app used on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones every day by hospital leaders, charge nurses, and other staff in the hospital inpatient setting to make healthcare better for patients. This role will include work on new product features, API integrations with workforce management solutions, and enhancements to our ETL pipeline.

Hospital staffing is a fast-moving environment where changes are made right up until the start of the shift, with staff being reallocated around the hospital to meet patient needs. Our team aims to make this a smooth process, ensuring patients have optimal staff coverage, improving patient outcomes and reducing staff burnout. WHAT YOU’LL DO

* Design and implement product features using Django, MySQL, Amazon Web Services, and various other technologies
* Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to transform ideas into reality
* Be a hands-on contributor, writing code across the stack
* Drive the technical vision of your module, ensuring high code quality, robust testing, and useful documentation
* Create 2-way integrations with workforce management solutions to create smooth, effortless staffing workflows for our clients

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

* 7+ years of professional experience designing and developing web-based SaaS enterprise software
* Strong skills in Python and SQL
* Self-sufficiency to navigate through complex tasks
* Thought leadership and system design expertise

* Experience working on healthcare products
* Experience with MySQL, GCP, AWS, Javascript
* Experience developing or working with ETL technologies

$130,000 - $175,000 a year

The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
