Summary of the role:
The company’s systems are on-premises, at customer locations (within hospitals) and in the cloud (AWS). The post holder will be part of a rapidly growing medical imaging AI company and will deploy a standard and secure platform on a large scale, enabling more physicians to take advantage of Brainomix software medical devices, within the stroke pathway and within new clinical indications. The successful candidate will be someone who can resolve immediate problems, whilst also eliminating future problems with code and long-term thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
•Troubleshoot, deploy, support, and develop a secure software appliance deployed primarily at customer locations as a virtual machine.
•Develop, automate, scale, and support mission critical cloud-based services.
•Modify existing applications to better detect or eliminate common problems.
•Advise customers and field technicians deploying our appliance into their environment.
•Design, engineer and deploy systems to support researchers / internal staff.

Required Experience:
•Linux administration and engineering (primarily Ubuntu)
•Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure as a service
•Basic Kubernetes deployment and administration
•Building, monitoring, and automating docker containers
•Bash and python scripting for system automation
•Virtual machine deployment / management
•Supporting a field-based team with complex technical issues
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
•Experience with DICOM and medical imaging protocols
•Windows Client / Server administration
•Microsoft InTune administration
•Django application development
•Experience with GitHub Actions
•Experience with AWS EC2, RDS, EKS, ElastiCache, and S3
